At last, we gave up and escaped to stay at Aeton Hotel since last Thursday night... will be staying up to this Friday...

Plaster ceiling:-

This was on Monday, almost last stage of plaster ceiling works.

Toilet doors:-

Hubby was surveying for the PVC foldable perforated doors for toilet. Cheaper solution... :)

 

Was asking my bro-in-law for installation... but, I have to buy it first.

Finalling Cabinets Works

It was quite long time since the 1st time I got the quotation from Foong on the cabinets. It was since April-12...

Trying to finalise all the design... still pending mainly on TV cabinet, he promised to do as per what we wish to at last on today... waiting for it... he will again finalise it after he takes the final dimension after we complete the plaster ceiling works...

This morning, I tried to finalise the design for cabinet at upstair living hall... see some draft below:-

Uh... started the exhaust and hood's holes drilling at last after waiting for so long...

4" hole drilling for exhaust fan from toilet -  toilet's smell gotto directed to outside as it is facing to kitchen and fridge... :(

Surveying of Hotel for Temporary 'Escape'

As ceiling plaster works will be started by this week, hubby went to survey for hotel for temporary escape on last week.

 

He is checking the condition of nearby Aeton Hotel which was biult on last year. It is near to Pizza Hut, KFC, Secret Recipies and Weng Hub...

 

 

Double Bedroom is needed as we are FIVE... :)

Room rate... one week is the maximum, otherwise budget burst... :(

 So-so condition but ok lah...

House Renovation-New Speakers

This unit was recovered by brother sometime ago as a 'system barter' exchange for the money we lend for them to buy the van years ago...

Unit has been trial assembled as below photo shown. Hmm... it is now an exercise for my cabinet contractor to think about how to settle the TV cabinet design as we want to re-use back the old TV cabinet and this speaker...

House Renovation-Relocation of Air Conditioner

As per requested by plaster ceiling contractor, existing air cond. in the rooms have to be lowered down... it was quite a struggle decision as it incurred another cost. With the suggestion from electrical contractor, Wong, we managed to find this more reasonable contractor who charged RM 100 per air cond. relocation.

House Renovation-Lighting Hunting

Went to V-World Lighting with hubby and found this cheap spot light (see the picture circle one). Good for master bedroom headboard.

Survey of Suitable Lighting at Altar Area

Found this lighting at Sushi King which we can direct the light to the wall area. I have to take the photo to show to the lighting shop as they could not find the one I found in Sushi King Nilai.
